The STL Prep for 3D Printing module helps you prepare your designs for 3D printing by offering a set of tools to repair printing problems and to modify STL and CAD files as easily as if they were created natively or imported. This set of tools for SpaceClaim Engineer 2014 includes LiveReview, a cloud-enabled live 3D collaboration system (formerly codenamed “Connect”) and, for those involved with 3D printing–a new STL Prep for 3D Printing module.
SpaceClaim, a leading provider of fast and intuitive 3D modeling software for engineers, is announcing its 2014 Service Pack 1. Not all CAD programs offer tools to aid you with this step, but that is beginning to change.
